Fractions

Fractions are the gateway to higher math. I have designed one-page Acrobat (.pdf) pages that help to clarify the basic concepts of multiplying, dividing, adding and subtracting fractions. They are designed to be done in sequence, as indicated.

When teaching fractions, it is still necessary to have a teacher guide a student step-by-step. This color print-out is designed to be a support while learning it for the first time, and then kept as a handy reference for practice or review. The left margin has room for punching three holes so it can go in a binder.

The design was kept as simple as possible; because it is an Acrobat file it will print clearly at high resolution. The whole point of it was to use COLOR, so please make color copies. No copyright.
